Project Spotlight: Cthulhu Knitted Ski Mask by Toy Vault

There are some Internet trends and memes that you hope just never fade away.  One of them is the odd fascination with Cthulhu and related mythology.  While creator H.P. Lovecraft was known for his weird and horrific tales, the fine people of the Internet have a way of twisting things to meet their own design.  Case in point: Toy Vault's adorably awesome Cthulhu knitted ski masks.

The product is just what it sounds like.  The mask covers your entire face and will get you Davy Jones-tentacled in no time.  Twenty bucks will get you the mask (and an air freshener!), and higher-level rewards include great things like Cthulhu gloves, plush toys, and more.  Even better, you can get a red mask or a special "After Dark" purple, which was added once they hit $7500 funded.

It's nice when things are just plain fun every once in a while.  That's certainly the case with the campaign that Toy Vault has going.  It's simple and straightforward and silly, and sometimes that's exactly what we need.
