Project Spotlight: Crowded Teeth Fancy Stamp Ring by Michelle Romo

Rings are kind of a big deal.  Green Lantern has one, and he's a superhero.  Frodo had one, but that didn't work out so well for him.  Sometimes, though, it's the simpler things that are better.  You don't need your ring to create green objects or have your mind taken over by the Dark Lord of Mordor.  Maybe you just need it to be an interchangeable stamp that you can swap out to match your style and mood.  Luckily Michelle Romo has you covered with the Crowded Teeth Fancy Stamp Ring.

The stamp ring comes in brass and silver, and initially there will be three sets of three inserts (for a total of nine, non-math majors).  Each insert is magnetic and splits in half; one side is the stamp to be used with ink or wax like old timey royalty used to seal things, and the other side is a wood cut that can simply be used as an accessory.  This all comes in a nice wooden book to keep everything together.

Really...that's it.  That's all there is to it.  But really, the simplicity and artistry of it are all that's needed, and what makes the project so appealing.

Pledging can get you some cool things, like a Crowded Teeth grab bag full of Romo's great art, a ring and set of stamps, and multiple stamp sets.  One tier even lets you make your own stamp set so you can be totally customized.

If you're looking for a fun little accessory to gives as a gift or keep for yourself, you really can't go wrong with a fancy stamp ring.
