Spotlight: Wit & Whistle
Last week I wrote about Bound Custom Journals. Earlier this week it was the I DRAW COMICS sketchbook. Now, the cute and clever Wit & Whistle "stylishly quirky paper goods." It's like I've gone back in time to a world not dominated by gadgets and digital products and quite frankly I'm not sure what to think of it. It's refreshing, though, and just goes to show that paper isn't dead (I mean yes, technically paper is dead, but...) and there's a lot of creativity still left out there for paper products.
Wit & Whistle is a one-woman show, run by Amanda Wright, with all of the paper goods you could want, from cards to jotters to stamps to prints. There are even holiday cards available as the year rolls on, giving you the perfect card for any occasion. But just having the products isn't enough - you can scoot into a local Hallmark and pick up any of those - and the differentiation is what makes Wit & Whistle shine. Each product is bursting with personality and heart and whether you want funny or sweet or unique you'll definitely find what you need.
Everything looks great, too. Every product is stylish and extremely well done. The cards have great lettering and illustrations, the jotter covers pop, and the stamps are intricately carved. I know firsthand that you won't be disappointed in whatever you get.
While you're over at Wit & Whistle buying your cards or whatever you need, be sure to also check out the blog. Whether you're interested in design - Wright has recently been practicing her hand lettering and inviting others to join in - or just want to see some clever posts, there will definitely be something to pique your interest.
